PD-1 (PDCD1)
PD-1 (PDCD1): PD-1 is an immune checkpoint receptor that plays a key role in regulating T-cell activity. Its expression in tumors is relevant for assessing the tumor microenvironment and immune evasion. Immunohistochemistry for PD-1 is used to evaluate potential responsiveness to immunotherapy, particularly in melanoma and lung cancer.
