PIT-1/POU1F1

PIT-1/POU1F1: PIT-1 (also known as POU1F1) is a transcription factor involved in pituitary development and is used as a marker for pituitary adenomas. Its detection assists in confirming the diagnosis and differentiating these tumors from other sellar lesions.
