MUC-5AC: MUC-5AC is a mucin expressed in respiratory and gastrointestinal tissues and is often used to assess mucinous tumors, particularly in the lung and stomach. Its detection aids in the diagnosis of mucinous adenocarcinomas and helps differentiate them from other tumor types.
