MUC-2

MUC-2: MUC-2 is a mucin commonly expressed in intestinal epithelium and is useful for identifying intestinal-type adenocarcinomas. Its detection assists in confirming the diagnosis and differentiating between various tumor types, particularly in gastrointestinal pathology.
