MUC-1

MUC-1: MUC-1 is a mucin glycoprotein overexpressed in many adenocarcinomas, including breast, pancreatic, and ovarian cancers. Its expression is used as a tumor marker, aiding in diagnosis and treatment planning, especially in targeted therapies that exploit MUC-1 as a therapeutic target.
