Buffer Solutions Guide
Components:
0.15 M Sodium Chloride (NaCl)
0.01 M Phosphate Buffer (Na₂HPO₄ and NaH₂PO₄)
Mix appropriate volumes and adjust pH to 7.4.

0.1 M Sodium Phosphate Dibasic (Na₂HPO₄)
0.1 M Sodium Phosphate Monobasic (NaH₂PO₄)
Mix appropriate volumes to achieve the desired pH (typically around 7.4).

Adjust pH to 8.0 using acetic acid.

Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) for pH adjustment
Mix Tricine and HCl to achieve pH 8.0.

Mix appropriate volumes to achieve pH 6.0.

Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) for pH adjustment
Mix HEPES and KOH to achieve pH 7.5.

1 M Ammonium Acetate (CH₃COONH₄)
Adjust pH to 5.2 using acetic acid (CH₃COOH).

0.1 M Sodium Citrate (Na₃C₆H₅O₇)
Adjust pH to 7.0 using citric acid.
